"Satisfied Soul" Vinyl Upgrade

We love this record very much, and we wanted to present it to you in a way that looks and feels and even moves in harmony with the music. So we partnered with legendary hip hop photographer Brian "B+" Cross and the iconic designer Brent Rollins. Together, they gave these pieces of vinyl a home that is beautiful, innovative, and interactive.
It features a vertical gatefold that when extended shows off a stunning photo of Ali in front of a Turkish Masjid. But this is only one of three covers that you can choose. It's a bit hard to explain until they get manufactured and we can show you, but the exterior of the album jacket is a slipcover (like what a hardcover book is wrapped in). This slipcover can be reversed to show a completely different album cover. It can also be removed altogether and used as a poster, leaving the actual jacket that houses the two pieces of vinyl as the album cover. The individual sleeves that pull out to expose the vinyl records are both filled with vivid imagery of Brother Ali and his home city of Istanbul, lovingly captured by B+. Each surface and component of this packaging has a different tactile feel, because designer Brent Rollins visited the manufacturing plant multiple times and patiently sorted through sample after sample of paper, varnish, embossment, and other flourishes that can be added in production.
So about this upgrade. The first thing to understand is that everything that I've just described is included in what you've already ordered. But, when samples came back and Ali was able to see just how incredible this is all going to be when it comes together, he got excited and started naming all the new things he wanted to share with people.
